When misfortune befalls a family of country mice, creative and resourceful Belle and her father, Burt, must make a new life in the city. Burt is soon confronted by a ferocious (but talented) natural predator!

It was performed in Spanish with video, live actors, and musical accompaniment in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán with the Campamento de la Paz at the Teatro Emperador Caltzontzin on November 12, 2025.

It’s dedicated to the students and teachers of Pátzcuaro and is intended to be used in classrooms. It is hoped that teachers will project the eBook and students will read the book aloud together. With both English and Spanish versions, it can be used to teach language in schools.
